    Good Practices Advice

A service for organisations and institutions that want to apply good practices for their open calls.

PAAC offers entities and institutions advice to review and rethink the conditions that describe the bases of their open calls, so that they apply to good practices. This task is carried out by some members of PAAC board on a voluntary basis and aims to spread knowledge about the minimum contractual, remuneration and fiscal management requirements that an institution must take into account when deciding to publish a call for artists.

This service is free for member entities and costs €150 for entities that want to use it without registering as PAAC members.

As a visibility tool, we have the PAAC Good Practices Medal that we proactively offer to public and private institutions throughout the country and which certifies that the call follows good practices in terms of working conditions for the artist collective. This distinction aims to highlight the precariousness of the sector and the need to create mechanisms to respect the work of artists. The Medal is given to calls published in the area of action of the PAAC: Catalonia.

We also have a respository of resources available so that institutions, artists and entities can evaluate calls and contractual practices, you will find them in the Resources>Bones Practiques section.
